She absolutely loves making learning engaging and impactful for all of her students! Maegan is a certified elementary special education teacher with experience supporting K-4 learners of all abilities. She is passionate about helping children build confidence, strengthen academic and social-emotional skills, and discover the joy of learning through engaging, play-based activities.
Her tutoring sessions are individualized to meet each child’s unique needs, strengths, and interests. She specializes in creating hands-on, multi-sensory learning experiences that help students stay motivated and feel meaningful success. Whether they are building reading skills through games, strengthening math understanding with manipulatives, or supporting social-emotional learning and self-regulation skills through sensory play, learning with Maegan is always active, meaningful, and tailored to the child.
She has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent learners and students with diverse learning needs. Her goal is to create a supportive, strengths-based environment where children feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and celebrating their growth.
Maegan is currently offering 1:1 enrichment and tutoring as well as small group enrichment focusing on foundational reading skills, foundational math skills, and social-emotional learning. Sessions are available in her in-home learning studio or at local South County libraries.

Sarah has taught third and fourth grade in Rhode Island public schools. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2022 and holds Elementary and Early Childhood teaching certifications in Rhode Island. Every summer for the past five years, she has also worked as a teacher assistant at a local early learning center.
Sarah is able to differentiate instruction based on her students’ individual needs to ensure that all students are successful. It is her goal to combine her skills, teaching experience, and passion for working with children to be a positive, hard-working tutor for children this summer. She looks forward to meeting families and chatting about each student’s unique goals.

Whitney is an experienced Kindergarten teacher of 17 years with a Rhode Island teaching certification in Early Childhood (PK-3) & Elementary (1-6) and a Masters in MLL. She constructs personalized plans for each child based on their current levels in Literacy & Math, working with them to fill in any learning gaps or simply maintain their skills over the summer to prevent the summer slide. Whitney provides a hands-on, multisensory approach to teaching and learning that keeps students engaged and showing them that learning is fun!
